The effectiveness of the pest control, specifically insects, can vary noticeably from month to month. However, my regular tech, Ian Zeringue, is always courteous, respectful, communicative, and takes the time to answer my many questions so I can learn during the process. When we had a rodent in the attic, he explained how the bait and poison works by dehydration so they seek water, causing them die outside of the residence instead of decomposing inside the home. He knows we have dogs, so he let me know that leaving food out for them might negate the effectiveness of the poison because dog food is supplemented with vitamin in K, which counteracts the dehydration, so the rodents should be prevented from accessing it. I find being educated about how systems work and being included in the service process highly beneficial to its effectiveness (and the rodent did disappear in two weeks). In this regard, I would absolutely recommend Terminix to others. -Zero Ehxe UPDATE 09/16/2022: Terminix employees are always responsive when I contact them via text. They are courteous and respectful while at my home, provide their services in an efficient manner, and always communicate what they are doing and why. Their preventative sprays work wonders at keeping bugs out. There was once in the years that we used Terminix that it seemed like it hadn’t worked at all, so I contacted them. I was told they suspected a water problem had caused an issue with their spray mix in some houses, so they came out and re-sprayed. I appreciate that they admitted they’d had a problem, but even when they don’t, they’re eager to make us happy customers. When it’s extremely hot here in Texas, the bugs’ desires to invade increases, so we may call weeks ahead of our regular schedule for a renewal spray, which they’re happy to do. Michael, Jeff, Thomas, Ian, and Bryan have all provided positive customer experiences for me.
