Woman: That's a palmetto bug. Okay, that's a giant cockroach. What do I do?

Gerardo: Smash it.

Woman: No. He's going so fast.

Gerardo: My name's Gerardo, and I'm a Terminix technician. This is an American cockroach, actually. It's one of the largest cockroaches. The smaller ones are the Germans. Usually, they're pretty fast, and you got to be fast on your feet. Living in a house with cockroaches sucks. Here's how to avoid them.

Number one, clean up your crumbs. They love little food bits in your microwave, stove, kitchen counters. Clean them up.

Number two, seal up those food containers. Cockroaches spread bacteria, E. coli, salmonella, staff. If you don't seal them up, cockroaches can get in.

Number three, fix those leaks. Even the smallest little leak can create an environment for these cockroaches to thrive.

Just because you see one doesn't mean there's only one. There's a lot more somewhere else: hiding, waiting for you to go to sleep.

Look, cockroaches happen. No matter what you do, they can still get in. If you do see a cockroach, simple one-step process. Call Terminix. We take care of the cockroaches so you don't have to. And if the roaches ever come back, so do we. So if you see a cockroach, give Terminix a call or book online. We'll see you soon.
