Hey everyone. My name is Bryant, and I’m a technician here at Terminix. And this is Savannah. We know your pets aren’t just animals; they’re family. That’s why one of the most common questions we get as technicians is: Is it safe to have my home treated for pests when I have pets? The quick answer is yes, but there are a few simple steps you should take to keep them happy and healthy during our visit.
First, always let us know if you have pets or not. Whether it’s a dog in the yard or a hamster in the bedroom. Tell your technician before we start.
Keep your dogs, cats, and other pets in a safe room, away from us, the technicians, and also the treated areas while the pest control service is being performed.
Clear the pet zone before we arrive. Do a quick sweep of the treatment area and pick up any food and water bowls. Grab those chew toys and bedding and clear anything they put in their mouths.
We know your pets aren’t just pets, but your family. Follow these tips, like alerting your technician to your pets and clearing out anything your pets put in their mouths, like food bowls and chew toys, before your appointment.
