Emory Matts is an experienced quality and operations professional with over 25 years of diverse experience in the pest control industry, currently serving as a Technical Services Manager at Rentokil. Known for solving complex problems and driving operational excellence, Emory has a proven track record of streamlining complex, multi-system data into actionable compliance and service quality metrics through automation and dashboard development.At Rentokil, Emory serves as a rodent subject matter expert, conducting on-site risk assessments, training, and data analysis to resolve and prevent issues for large national accounts. They are adept at coaching field leadership, creating scalable tools and workflows that drive consistency, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and third-party audit specifications. Emory's commitment to excellence has been recognized with the Rentokil TSM of the Year Award (2019) and the Rentokil Distinguished Performance Award (2019 and 2021).Emory holds a Master of Science in Entomology from the University of Minnesota and is a Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) and Comprehensive Food Safety (CCFS) Certified. Eric started his career working for JC Ehrlich in 1997 as a pest control technician. During his 29-year career, he has held several positions including, Operations Manager, Bed Bug Line of Business Manager, Segment Technical Services Manager, and, most recently, Regional Technical Services Manager. In his current role, Eric oversees the technical aspects and supports the Rentokil business in the Hospitality segment, Heat Treatments, and Bed Bug related services. Additional regional responsibilities include developing service technicians and managers, pest identification, technical assistance with challenging pest problems, innovation deployment, product & equipment testing, and the development & delivery of training seminars and workshops.Eric has a Bachelor's degree in Entomology from the University of Delaware, is a Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) through the Entomological Society of America, and is a member of Pi Chi Omega.

Senior Entomologist Hunter Bergbower has a uniquely inspiring connection with bugs. A true scientist at heart, Hunter has always been driven by the power of knowledge, but admittedly, she hasn’t always loved bugs. As a kid, Hunter was terrified of bugs. As she got older, she decided to conquer that fear by learning to understand these often misunderstood creatures. Initially, she pursued her undergrad degree with the intention of becoming a medical examiner, as she was never one to shy away from the gross and macabre. As a sophomore, she came across the field of entomology and fell in love with what she calls "secret bug anatomy". From that point on, she changed her major and her focus to dive headfirst into the world of these critters.Hunter attended Purdue University for her BS in entomology, with minors in biology and forensics, and the University of Florida for her MS in Entomology and Nematology, studying under Dr. Su, the creator of Sentricon and designer of the termite baiting concept. Today, Hunter is an industry-leading termite scientist fueled by her passion to educate others about the fascinating and crucial role insects play in our world. Whether discussing best practices for control, termite biology, or even just which bugs are the most fun to hang out with, she is always willing to find time to share her excitement with anyone who's interested.

Nancy Troyano, Ph.D., BCE, is a Board Certified Entomologist and Director of Technical Education and Training for U.S. Pest Operations at Rentokil-Terminix. She holds a doctorate in Entomology from Virginia Tech, where she specialized in mosquito-borne virus transmission, and brings more than 20 years of experience in teaching, technical leadership, and applied pest management.Nancy began her career running a residential and commercial service route and later built Rentokil-Terminix’s global library of pest management courses and its nationally recognized training department. Today, she leads multiple teams responsible for new hire education, continuing technical education, and onboarding programs that support organizational growth and drive improvements in retention, customer satisfaction, and safety.A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Nancy has served as a technical expert for public health initiatives—including the Zika Virus response—and remains active in professional organizations, including the Entomological Society of America and Pi Chi Omega. Her work continues to advance the fields of entomology, pest management, and professional training.
